The Wise Fusion Smart Dimmer Slave is a dimmer based around wireless communication technology that talks to a corresponding Wise Fusion Dimmer Master. They are surface mounted and battery powered so can be positioned almost anywhere. A CR2430 battery is included with each unit.

This dimming unit has 6 simple buttons to control two lighting circuits: on/off, raise and lower.

What makes these dimmers distinct is the wireless communication between a receiver unit and transmitter unit. A Wise Fusion Dimmer Master is designed to replace your existing light switch using the existing cables. It can then be synched to a number of Wise Fusion Dimmer Slaves that are completely wireless and can simply be placed around your house. No more chasing wires through wall cavities. You now have the freedom to put your lighting dimmer wherever you want and if you don't like the position, you can easily move it.

This Wise Fusion Dimmer Slave - 2 Gang is compatible with four different programming options:

Option A - Single Button Dimming Programming
Allows circuits to be switched ON/OFF or dimmed from a single button.

Option B - Switching ON only Programming
Allows you to switch single or multiple circuits ON. Ideal for programming a 'Master On' switch to turn on certain circuits as you enter your home.

Option C - Switching OFF only Programming
Allows you to switch single or multiple circuits OFF. Ideal for programming a 'Master Off' button for your home.

Option D - Three Button Dimming Programming
Allows circuits to be switched ON/OFF, raise or lower using a three button switch.

The battery life lasts up to five years.

Common questions

Do I need Wi-Fi for this to work?
No. The Wise platform runs on radio frequency (RF), independent of your home Wi-Fi or broadband. The system continues to function during internet outages.
Is special programming software required?
No software, hub or laptop is needed for standard setup. Pairing is done by pressing buttons on the receiver and transmitter in sequence — any qualified installer or competent homeowner can do it.
Can I add this to an existing Wise installation?
Yes. Any new Wise receiver or transmitter pairs directly with existing kit. There's no version lock — Wise Box receivers, Scene controllers and Fusion dimmers all live on the same RF platform regardless of generation.
Does it need a qualified electrician to install?
Wireless transmitters (keypads, remotes, PIRs) can be installed by a competent person without mains work. Receivers and dimmers wire into the mains supply and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Free training is available — see our training page.
